Cici's one year pics!

At her year check up she weighed 17 lbs 14 oz but since then has been walking quite a bit and is back down to 17 lbs. Which her doctor suggested we not turn her around in a new car seat until she is at least 19 lbs, better than the 20 and I know traveling would probably be much smoother if we could just turn her around, dangit! She finally has gotten some teeth, although her first one came at the end of her 11th month and her second followed a week later. She was starting to take steps here and there, and is now walking all over! She sleeps pretty well so long as we arn't traveling too much, which we have been! She now says: "mama" "dada" "da" (for dog) "lala" (for our dog Lola's name), "ba"(for ball) and "ello" (for hello, when she pretends she is on the phone, and everything is a phone, and she'll hold it to her ear and say it!) She is every bit still the sunshine in our lives and we love, love, love her!

Cicily is ONE!!!! (a month ago!)

Well we're a little behind as usual, but this is one of Cicily's 1st year pics done by loulouphotography, who is awesome and did a fantastic job, thanks Mandi! Cici turned one on Feb. 4th and we are still in shock it has been a whole year! More pics like these to follow in a few days when we get the rest!

She was fairly conservative for what we thought which was good because what kind of mother dresses their child in a white shirt for them to make a mess in!

Tailynn steals the show every year at the fam Christmas party as "the star" in the nativity! It's my favorite part! Although little angel, Maren squatting in the back is a close second!

Loved opening presents, didn't care what they were! (hope it always stays that way!)

Had to go all the way back to Utah to find some great snow to snowboard on, and a babysitter so we could go together on that snow!
However since i've been back home, not the case! It has totally been dumping here! Snow king here we come!



Babies favorite toy, although it belonged to my dad! We'll have to make it a future present! Maybe for a birthday in a month! (can't believe she is almost 1!!!!!)

We got our pictures taken from Lou Lou Photography while we were down in the 801 for Christmas. Amanda, aka "Mandi Lou" was awesome, and made it so fun!

BRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Well it's good to know that even the people who have lived up here in Jackson for a long time think it is unusually cold for this time of year too! For the past two weeks it has been consistently below ZERO DEGREE'S!!!!!! (AHHHHH!) Apparently, we've heard, it's only like this in January and February! (So Crap! What is it going to be like during those months now!!!!) I've been running in the mornings with a couple of crazy gals who are use to running in weather like this! Yesterday I brought my camera so I could document what running in -8 degree weather looks like!

(keep in mind it was NOT snowing, that is all frost after running!) I love the iced over eye lashes! (Stacy wiped hers away for the pic- Left!)

So what have we been up to during these cold days and nights........ not much!

We actually opened up the only game we have the other night! We are not big gamers usually, and this game happened to still be in it's original wrapping from our wedding 5 1/2 years ago! But it is "America's favorite word game" and it is quickly becoming ours. Lets just say we've been staying pretty busy with Scrabble!

(Let the record show that Colb has not yet beat me, also you should know that it says in a two player game a good score is usually around 300 - 400 points.......neither of us have broken 300 yet! Three and four letter words are our specialty right now, although I think were getting better! Playing with google as our dictionary has helped a ton too!!!)

Other highlights lately have included:

The lighting ceremony in town square!

Why we didn't get a pic after the lights came on, I'm not quite sure, and Cici wasn't sleeping, both pics we took she was blinking, dang it! (So we will post a pic soon of the cute lights in town square with Cici's eyes open hopefully!)

We also went to a little Christmas tree festival and went to listen to the town choir perform Handel's Messiah.

Other than that we've just been hanging out and watching "SYTYCD" (Good Times!)

Some exciting news however is that Cici is now 10 months old and is pretty close to walking! I'll post a video soon but here is a blurry pic, since she moves pretty fast with this little walker toy!

She also loves waving "Hi" and "Goodbye!"
